 Cisco and Tata Communications to demonstrate 'Digital Lifestyle'
Bangalore: Cisco and Tata Communications have collaborated to showcase the fusion between Cisco products and Tata Communications broadband services to show the benefits of 'Digital Lifestyle' or going wireless to consumers at home and on the go in Gurgaon district. A mobile van, equipped with Linksys, a Cisco home networking service, and enabled by Tata Communications' wireless broadband services will travel to residential areas in Gurgaon between July 13 and August 9 this year. Cisco's next generation wireless home networking solutions including entertainment routers, wireless adapter, internet home monitoring camera and network attached storage will be demonstrated. In addition, internet sharing, wireless printing and video streaming will be highlighted. Suresh Balasubramanian, National Sales Director for Cisco Consumer Business India said, "Cisco and Tata Communications have a shared vision of the wireless home and connected lifestyle. This initiative is our way of demonstrating to consumers as to how they can harness the full potential of connected life experiences through our wireless offerings." There will also be lucky draw contests on each day of the demonstration in which participating consumers will have the opportunity to win a wireless router. During the period, customers can benefit from a discount of 200 to 1,000 on various products. Cisco's easy to use home networking products paired with our broadband services make a compelling proposition for consumers to make the transition from wired to wireless home environments."
